The Theological Purpose

The theological purpose of these pages is to communicate Christ effectively in an Italian context.   Post-modern Europe is a valid concern of ours.   South America, Africa, and Asia are also valid.  But, Europe has recently been neglected.  Consider, therefore, the unified plan for all of history and in every place (Ephesians 1:10).  This certainly is not a new plan (see Isaiah 46:9-10).  The plan is ancient; yet, the Lord of history holds contemporary relevance.

1. This plan takes place “in Christ” (Ephesians 1:1,3,4,6,7,9,10,11,12,13).
2. This plan is according to three things–
   1. “according to the purpose of his will” (Eph. 1:5,9,11).
   2. “according to the riches of his grace” (Eph. 1:7),
   3. “according to the working of his great might” (Eph. 1:19).
3. This plan is “to the praise of his glory” (Eph. 1:6,12,14).
