The Theological Purpose

The theological purpose of these pages is to communicate Christ effectively. Consider, therefore, the unified plan for all of history and in every place (Ephesians 1:10).  This certainly is not a new plan (see Isaiah 46:9-10).  The plan is ancient; yet, the Lord of history holds contemporary relevance.

  1. This plan takes place in Christ (Ephesians 1:1,3,4,6,7,9,10,11,12,13).
  2. This plan is according to three things–
    1. according to the purpose of his will (Eph. 1:5,9,11).
    2. according to the riches of his grace (Eph. 1:7),
    3. according to the working of his great might (Eph. 1:19).
  3. This plan is also according to the praise of his glory (Eph. 1:6,12,14).
